Description: Rare 1955 New York Yankees Tour of Japan poster. Paper stock 10.5"x14.75" advertising poster was done to promote the New York Yankees during their Goodwill tour to Japan in 1955. Notables pictured include Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, and Whitey Ford along with fellow Hall of Famer and Manager Casey Stengel. Japanese language throughout the front and back notes team rosters (of both Yankees and opponents) and perhaps a schedule of games played. Mild wrinkles throughout along with some more pronounced creases and some other mild wear. One of perhaps two or three examples which have surfaced: GD with superior eye appeal/display value
