Description: 1963 Topps near-complete set (574/576) with (11) PSA & SGC-graded cards, including Aaron and Mays. Colorful and hugely popular Topps year includes (574) different cards, missing only #s 200 Mickey Mantle and 537 Pete Rose RC for completion (both offered separately in this auction). Nine cards have been graded by PSA: #s 18 Buc Blasters with Roberto Clemente (PSA 5 EX), 25 Al Kaline (PSA 5 EX), 115 Carl Yastrzemski (PSA 5 EX), 173 Bombers' Best with Mickey Mantle (PSA 6 EX/MT), 210 Sandy Koufax (PSA 5 EX), 250 Stan Musial (PSA 6 EX/MT), 390 Hank Aaron (PSA 5 EX), 490 Willie McCovey (PSA 6 EX/MT), and 540 Roberto Clemente (PSA 6 EX/MT). Two have been graded SGC 5 EX: #s 300 Willie Mays and 553 Willie Stargell RC. Other ungraded key cards grade as follows: #s 120 Roger Maris (VG/EX), 228 Tony Oliva RC (GD), 320 Warren Spahn (VG), 340 Yogi Berra (EX/MT OC), 380 Ernie Banks (FR), 400 Frank Robinson (EX), 500 Harmon Killebrew (PR), 544 Rusty Staub RC (EX/MT) and 550 Duke Snider (EX). Balance of the near-set, housed in pages and a binder, is mostly mid-grade EX-EX+ with some better and some worse. Range: PR-NM.
