Description: 1962 Topps football near-complete set (159/176) with SGC-graded Tarkenton, Ditka and Davis RCs. Outstanding near-complete set with numerous short prints is missing only (17) cards for completion: #s 11, 12, 32 Lou Groza, 49 Cowboys team, 63 Bart Starr, 88 Roman Gabriel RC, 94, 95, 97, 101 Vikings team, 104 Frank Gifford, 115 Sonny Jurgensen, 117, 120, 148, 152 John Brodie and 164 Norm Snead RC. Three key rookie cards have been graded by SGC: #17 Mike Ditka RC (SGC 6 EX/MT), #36 Ernie Davis RC (SGC 6 EX/MT) and #90 Fran Tarkenton RC (SGC 6.5 EX/MT+). Ungraded key cards grade as follows: #1 Johnny Unitas (VG/EX), 28 Jim Brown (EX), 39 Don Meredith (VG/EX), 64 Paul Hornung (GD), 176 checklist (FR; marked). Balance of the lot appears mostly VG/EX-EX with some better. Range: PR-EX/MT+, including a couple marked checklists.
