Description: 1953-54 Parkhurst hockey complete set (100) with (2) SGC graded cards, including Jean Beliveau RC. Mostly lower-grade set, featuring 100 different cards, is highlighted by a bevy of stars and Hall of Famers, with two cards professionally graded by SGC: #24 Maurice Richard (SGC 2.5 GD+) and #27 Jean Beliveau RC (SGC 1.5 FR). A majority of the cards have uneven age toning/staining, mostly near the orders, accounting for the technical downgrades on most. Ungraded key cards grade as follows: #s 1 Harry Lumley (GD), 13 Tim Horton (VG; stain on reverse), 26 Doug Harvey (GD+), 29 Bernie Geoffrion (FR), 46 Terry Sawchuk (GD), 50 Gordie Howe (VG), 53 Gump Worsley RC (VG), 56 Andy Bathgate RC (VG/EX) and 100 Bill Quackenbush. Balance of the set appears mostly GD-VG, though some do have a sharper appearance (with note on age toning/staining).
