Description: 2004 David Ortiz autographed Boston Red Sox professional model home jersey (Ortiz signed LOA) - World Series Championship season. White home jersey has "Red Sox" team name across the front and number "34" on back. Russell Athletic tag is on the front tail with adjacent year (2004), size (52 100% Polyester), and custom hem (+2" Extra Length) tags. Signed in marker on the upper left front shoulder rating 7/8 out of 10. An included letter of authenticity signed by Ortiz himself (ink, full name signature rating 9/10) states the "jersey was game used by myself during the 2004 season." It displays nice wear with some pilling of material on front. Ortiz had joined the Red Sox the season prior and blossomed during the 2004 season displaying the raw power and prowess at the plate that would make "Big Papi" a Legendary figure in a town with some of baseballs' mostly deeply rooted fandom. His (41) home runs helped lead Boston to the Post Season where he had multiple game winning hits to help advance the Red Sox and his heroics against the Yankees in the ALCS propelled the club to a World Series appearance.
