Description: 1996 John Smoltz Atlanta Braves Atlanta Braves professional model home jersey (NL Cy Young Season)(SGC/Grob: Superior). White knit jersey with Braves team insignia across the front in red/blue tackle twill. Back has "Smoltz" nameplate positioned above "29" uniform number. Wilson manufacturer's label found on tail front with size 44 flag tag and "96" supplemental strip tag. Appropriate light to moderate use/wash wear visible throughout with few loose stitches around nameplate area. Smoltz enjoyed his finest season in 1996 ending with an amazing 24–8 record, 2.94 ERA, and 276 strikeouts and was honored with the Cy Young Award for the National League.
