Description: August 26, 1947 Dodgers vs. Pirates ticket stub - Dan Bankhead debut (first African American pitcher in MLB) (only graded example). Original ticket stub issued for the landmark game played at Ebbets Field in which Dan Bankhead became the first African American pitcher to take the mound in the Major Leagues. An historically significant accomplishment which has long been overshadowed by the feats of teammate Jackie Robinson during that same season.
