Goldsmith brand "New York Club" baseball has been signed by (18) including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Herb Pennock, Bob Shawkey, Art Fletcher, Bill Dickey, George Pipgras, Lyn Lary, Sam Byrd, Earl Combs, Ben Chapman, and batboy Eddie Bennett. All are done in fountain pen rating 5 to 7/8 out of 10 with two or three lesser. Ruth, on the sweetspot, rates approx. 7 and Gehrig is among the strongest at 7/8. Ball is toned/soiled and has mild surface wear throughout. A very nice example dating to the heart of the Yankees dominance of the American League. Includes full LOA from JSA: Sigs.
