Description:Presentational contest basketball from March 2, 1962 Wilt Chamberlain 100 Point Game. Young Arnold Skaar was in attendance of the Philadelphia Warriors and New York Knick basketball game at Hershey, PA with several friends. During halftime, Skaar won the lucky program contest and was given the choice between two prizes: 1) Kielbasa or 2) Ball signed by members of the Warriors team. Skaar chose the latter and was presented with the offered basketball. Several players and coach’s signatures are on the ball and appear to have been signed in black marker by team employee or clubhouse attendant including P.Arizin, A.Attles, and T. Gola. Chamberlain’s signature is written in blue pen on side panel along with date of “3/1/62” (date was actually 3/2/62). This signature apparently was signed by a clubhouseor team official in different ink color perhaps due to fact that Wilt travelled to Hershey, PA via a different means than the bus which the rest of the team was riding. Interestingand unique collectible with relation to one of the most iconic feats in thehistory of professional sports. Includes of provenance from Arnold Skaar: Ball: EX-MT, Signatures: Range EX-NM/MT
