Description: 1976 Tommy Heinsohn Boston Celtics NBA Championship ring. Tommy Heinsohn assumed duties as head Coach of the Boston Celtics in 1969 on the heels of one of the most successful playing careers in NBA history. It was certainly no easy task to take the helm of one of the winningest franchises in sports history but within a few short years he hit his stride and was named Coach of The Year in 1973. The following season he would lead the Celtics to their 12th NBA Championship and they would repeat again, with their 13th, in 1976. Tasteful design features a diamond of approx. .60 carat weight set within basketball figural mount at center of the top face which reads, "N.B.A. World Champions." The name "Heinsohn" appears atop one shank with a trophy below along with the words "Boston Celtics Pride." Opposite has the NBA dribbling man logo and year, "1976." Size (10) and marked "Balfour 14K" on the interior band, weighs (47) grams. Little to no mentionable wear.
