Description: 1933 Goudey advertising display poster with (5) Hall of Famers including Babe Ruth. Important point of sale advertising display (approx. 14.25"x11.5") is among the more desirable baseball card promotional pieces ever issued. A strip of text along the bottom boasts "New Pictures…Including Babe Ruth" with (24) cards shown above including (5) Hall of Famers. Most notable is Ruth (shown as he appears on card #53) who is joined Tris Speaker. Eppa Rixey, Jesse Haines, Red Ruffing, and others. Displays at the VG-VG/EX level with bold and crisp color through and wear which, when viewing from the front, is largely confined to the corners and edges. Skillfully done professional restoration has been carried out (and can be seen from the back) to reverse damage and/or loss along the top and bottom edges with some smaller flaws repaired on either side.
