Description: 1976 Jimmy Wynn Atlanta Braves professional model home jersey - an exceedingly rare "nickname" style. Pinstriped home jersey has "Braves" team name across the front with number "24" below. The number also appears on back below the name "Cannon." Wilson tag in the collar notes size (42) and an embroidered strip tag reads "76 42" (denoting year and size). The "nickname" jerseys were worn by the Braves for only (28) home games before team owner Ted Turner reverted back to the clubs' traditional no name on back. These jerseys' were the only worn in the National League that year which were not issued with the Centennial patch. Use and wash wear are evident throughout and both the numbers and name on back have been expertly restored. An exceedingly rare style and the first we can recall offering.
