Description: Early Spalding rowing machine c.1910s. Rowing machine manufactured by Spalding has a largely intact "Spalding Home Apparatus" decal on the base. Comprised largely of wood and cast iron, the piece measures 70" long and is at least partially functional. A bracket which is mounted to the underside of the seat and holds wheels on which it glides when in use is missing a small portion (and thus can only hold one wheel).
