Description: Lot of (5) vintage tennis rackets and early cover c.1910-30s. Includes interesting style racket which features a bulbous rounded handle and has a partially intact "James Bailey...Portland" decal. Wooden press attached; another interesting style with a rounded (though slightly more squared off) handle that terminates in a fish tail shape. Racket is unmarked but comes in a "Slazenger" marked press; early Spalding brand flat top racket with partial manufacturers decal; c.1920s racket with "Spalding" logo and "Ardmore" model designation along with a "Gertz" resellers decal. There is a "Zephyr" brand metal press attached; and vintage racket which has "Ken-Wel" decal on one side (opposite side label is missing) and comes in a "Prestopress" marked press. Also includes a canvas racket cover with "Horace Partridge" makers tag. Varying degrees/types of wear throughout: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
