Description: Alexei Gusarov CSKA Moscow professional model jersey c.1980s (Red Army vs. Flyers game). Red mesh jersey as worn during the exhibition game played between the Red Army national team from Moscow and the Philadelphia Flyers. Shirt retains its original team insignia on front with proper Maska manufacturer's tag inside the collar. "Gusarov" nameplate on back above "5" in white on blue tackle twill. Rare style shirt from an obscure exhibition series which began in 1976 and continued throughout the 1980s period. Jersey shows excellent use including board marks, pilling, and stick marks. Originally obtained by a collector who received items directly from players and team employees in the period.
