Description: Reach "Fungo" bat with ring decoration c.1890-1900. Early 36" long wooden bat has bold and well pronounced "Reach Fungo No 79" centerbrand stampings. The initials "EBS" are block letter stamped above and the barrel end features a 4" wide ring decoration. Use and some general age related wear and it appears that some cracks in the barrel (where the surface finished is interrupted) have been repaired.
