Description: 1897 Princeton University photographic yearbook. Substantive leather bound yearbook with gilt lettered cover is comprised of heavy stock pages which have period photographs affixed showing members of the school faculty, students, scenes around campus, and images of sports teams. These include team photos of (2) baseball teams, (3) football teams, and photos of what appear to be baseball and football games in action. Mild wear to covers and interior pages only show the slightest touch of toning. Bound edge has some chipping/loss and the leather cover over binding has separated from edges.
