Description: Rare U.S. Naval Academy football decorative porcelain water pitcher c.1905. Very uncommon design variant depicting early uniformed Navy football player with high collar sweater, head harness football helmet, and melon shaped football. Pitcher stands 12" tall with light general age/handling wear, handle has two repaired cracks. Likely painted by artist John Sheridan (as seen on other similar signed examples) with Laughlin Art China hallmark underneath the base: VGEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
