Description: 1994 Walter Payton Chicago Bears team issued professional quality throwback jersey. Exceedingly rare style was issued by the Chicago Bears during the 1994 season in honor of the 75th Anniversary of the National Football League. The team wore the jerseys on field only one time during their September 25th game against the New York Jets. While Payton was long since retired his stature within the Bears organization was such that they prepared and presented him with the offered jersey. Orange and blue mesh jersey done to simulate a 1920s-30s style has an "NFL 75" patch of the upper left front and player number "34" on the right. The number also appears on back below a "Payton" nameplate. Champion tag on the front tail notes size (48) and is beside a "Designed & Tailored Exclusively For Chicago Bears" tag. Little mentionable wear. Includes letter of provenance from the Payton Family: EX-NMEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$4,000)
