Description: 1979 Walter Payton Pro Bowl award. Presentational piece awarded to Payton for one of the nine Pro Bowl appearances made during his legendary career. Wooden base measures 8.75"x8.75" with a series of team logo enameled football helmets applied (one is missing from the left hand side). A metal placard on the base reads "AFC - NFC Pro Bowl Game 1979" with the name "Walter Payton" engraved below. A glass jar/dish which sits atop has the "NFL" logo engraved. Scattered wear includes a few scuffs/scrapes/nicks to both wood and glass portions. Includes letter of provenance from the Payton Family: VGEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$3,000)
