Description: Lou Gehrig photograph c.1929. Sepia toned 7.5"x10" image shows Gehrig crossing home after rounding the bases. An "Apr 28 1929" date stamp on back likely relates to the period of original issue and a later 1939 dated stamp was placed there when it was used in print. Content of an affixed paper caption relates to the later time period.
