Description: Tom Heinsohn's 1986 Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Trophy. Important figural trophy was presented to Tommy Heinsohn upon his Induction into the Hall of Fame as a player in 1986. Heinsohn was a core member of the Boston Celtics from 1956 to 1965 and played on eight NBA Championship teams during their run as one of the great dynasties in sports history. Presentational trophy stands 19.5" tall with "Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame" and "Enshrinee" lettered on the top surface of the base. A pair of affixed metal placards read "Class of 1986" and "Tommy Heinsohn" (the latter being a replacement as the original had fallen off). In fine overall condition with just a hint of light handling wear mentioned largely for accuracy.
