Wooden plaque (12.25"x15.25") has a metal plate on the front which reads "National Basketball Association Coach of the Year 1972-73, presented to Tom Heinsohn of the Boston Celtics by the editors of Basketball News..." A prestigious honor and one which placed Heinsohn's name on a list alongside some of the greatest coaches of all-time. Mild wear including some scratching to the silverplated surface.
