Description: Tom Heinsohn Boston Celtics "10,000th Career Point" presentational commemorative basketball. Spalding D.Stern Official NBA game ball has a green and white painted panel lettered with text reading, "Tommy Heinsohn, Scoring his 10,000th career point on March 17th, 1963 in a 125-116 victory over Syracuse at the Boston Garden." On the panel below is the "Boston Celtics" block letter team name suggesting that this was a team issued game ball and it does show use/wear. While decorated in similar style to many significant game balls which we have handled this was clearly done many years later as a commemorative/display piece.
