Description: Rare 1957 Tommy Heinsohn NBA All-Star Game presentational plaque. Wooden plaque (9"x18") was presented to Tommy Heinsohn for his participation in the game which took place at the Boston Garden. It was his Rookie season and the first of an eventual (6) appearances in the annual event which showcases the brightest talent in the NBA. A wooden plinth affixed to the center has small metal placard affixed which reads "N.B.A. East-West All Star Game, Boston Mass. 1957." A basketball player figures stands atop, a repaired replacement for the original which was lost long ago. Mounted on either side are metal plates which have images affixed of the East and West teams.
