Description: Exceptional 2001-02 Shaquille O'Neal autographed Los Angeles Lakers professional model jersey (MeiGray Photo Match)(NBA Champions). Purple knit jersey with classic Lakers gold trim retaining its original team name across the front above "34". "O'Neal" lettering on back positioned above "34" which has been autographed in black sharpie by O'Neal. Proper Nike Authentic manufacturer's tagging affixed to the tail front with size 60 indicator and "Length +4" flag tag in addition to Lakers tag. Nike date tag is sewn inside tail with 2001-02 indicator. September 11th memorial US flag patch is positioned at front breast area. The jersey exhibits very fine use/wash wear including mild puckering to the lettering and tag areas. MeiGray has photo matched the shirt to have been worn in a number of games during the Lakers season between November of 2001 and January of 2002 including three instances where he recorded a double/double in rebounds and points. The season in which O'Neal wore the offered jersey was in the midst of the Lakers vaunted Three Peat period in which they captured consecutive titles cementing their place among the greatest teams in NBA history. Outstanding game jersey being offered for the first time publicly. Originally obtained by a collector who received items directly from players and team employees in the period.
