Description: 1994 Michael Jordan "The Spirit" United Center bronze maquette - limited edition version of the full sized original. Exceptionally well executed bronze statue showing Jordan in classic form is based on the full sized original which stands outside the United Center in Chicago. Numbered (113/123) and signed within the work by the artists, Omri Amrany and Julie Rotblatt-Amrany. In addition, there is a Michael Jordan signature carved into the lower front. The piece stands an impressive 32" tall with the bronze portion set atop a 6" tall marble base. The original issue price (in 1994) was $10,000 and it can not be confirmed but has been rumored that only (55) were purchased and produced. The other two examples of this piece which we have seen have a small metal placard on the base front which is missing from this one although it does appear that there is a small scuff where it may have falled off.
