Description: Rare 1966-67 NCAA Champion UCLA Bruins team signed basketball with Lew Alcindor. Vintage Spalding Top-Flite 100 model basketball has been signed by (16) members of the Bruins (or related personnel) incl. Alcindor, John Wooden, Lucius Allen, Ducky Drake (trainer), Dick Lynn, Mike Warren (inscribed "30-0"), Gene Sutherland, Jim Nielsen, Ted Henry (student Manager), Don Saffer, Bill Sweek, Joe Chrisman, Lynn Shackelford, Ken Heitz, and Neville Saner (one additional signature can not be identified). Signatures rate 7 to 8 out of 10. Hand lettered on the opposite panels of the ball is text reading "Sportsmen's Supper Club 66-67, U.C.L.A. Bruins N.C.A.A. Champions 1967, Freedom Hall Louisville, KY. March 24-25, Attendance 18.892 Each Session..." (scores of semi-finals and finals are noted below). An additional signature below is inscribed "Tournament Director." Ball has some light scattered surface wear and is full inflated.
