Heavy gauge maroon wool sweater jersey with rare leather padding strips mounted to the front and sleeves in the manner of a pre-cursor to the late seen "friction strip" jerseys of the 1920-30s period. No manufacturer labeling is present with a diminutive original "7" applied felt number to the back.
