Description: Scarce Spalding football in its original box c.1910. Unused Spalding model leather melon style American football remaining uninflated with original Spalding rubber inflation valve and additional paperwork. The ball displays Spalding stamp on one side with "Compliments of Endicott John Shoe Co." stamp on the other indicative of having been made for promotional use. The ball is housed in its original Spalding Rugby Football lidded cardboard box with exterior paper labeling. Box shows some expected moderate handling wear.
