Description: 1993 New York Yankees team signed baseball from Spring Training with pre-Rookie Derek Jeter. Rawlings B.Brown Official American League baseball has been signed by (24) including Derek Jeter, Paul O'Neill, Don Mattingly, Danny Tartabull, Jim Leyritz, Brian Taylor, Clete Boyer, and others. Ink signatures rate uniformly strong 8 to 8/9 out of 10. Ball is crisp white with bold and well defined stampings and a few specs of essentially incidental ink transfer are mentioned for accuracy. Although he would not make his Major League debut until 1995 Derek Jeter joined the Yankees for Spring Training in 1993. He hit (.295) playing for the Greensboro Hornets in 1993 and the following year he progressed through (3) other Yankee affiliates ending up with the AAA Columbus Clippers and was named Minor League Player of The Year. His 1995 Yankees debut came on May 29th and after earning a full time spot on the roster he was named the 1996 American League Rookie of The Year.
