Description: Hank Aaron attributed Atlanta Braves professional model hat c.1967. Classic style has the "A" team logo embroidered on front of deep blue body with red brim and red button accent. "Wilson Professional Cap" tag in on the interior band. Under the band is a size (7 1/4) tag and code beginning with "K" suggests manufacture in 1967. Number "44" is written under the brim in vintage marker. Well preserved with appropriate light evident use/wear. Obtained by our consignor, in whos' collection it has long resided, from noted broadcaster Phil Schaefer. Schaefer was a long time staple in the Atlanta sports scene. Aaron was with the Braves as the team moved from Milwaukee to their now long time home in Atlanta and would enjoy some of his most productive seasons in that setting.
