Description: Extremely rare style 1967 Washington Senators professional model hat. Exceedingly rare style done in white was worn by the Senators for only a handful of games played during the 1967 against the Kansas City Athletics. In response to the A's then flashy style of dress Washington GM George Selkirk ordered a set of white hats (the team also sported white socks and their typical colored stirrups) which made a few field appearances before being banned by American League officials. "Wilson Professional Cap" tag appears on the interior band along with size (7 1/8) and "KWC" stamps. Number "44" (worn by Coach Joe Pignatano) is written under the brim in period marker.
