Description: 1937 Frank Pytlak Cleveland Indians professional model home jersey. Cream colored flannel jersey has the Indians "C" team logo on left front chest and number "8" on the back. In the collar is a Spalding manufacturers tag beside the embroidered name "Pytlak." The year "37" is embroidered is similar style of chain stitch on the inside tail. On the left sleeve is an outline where the team logo patch was removed and both sleeves have been shortened. An included 8"x10" sepia toned team photo of the 1938 Indians shows Pytlak seated in the front row with his sleeves trimmed in similar fashion. Use and wash wear are evident throughout along with some age/storage related wear. A notably rare style and one of only a handful from this era in circulation.
