Description: Ted Williams' personal wool hunting jacket. Red and black checkered heavy wool jacket has a "Vanity Park" tag in the collar. An included letter of provenance relays that "while at the peak of his fame, Ted has visited his aunt and upon departing had unwittingly left his hunting jacket behind…" It was gifted, in 1988 based on the dating of the letter, to our consignor.
