Description: Max Carey attributed baseball glove c.1930s (Carey Family LOA). High quality Rawlings "Bill Doak Model H" left handed glove with well defined interior markings has fully intact wrist strap labels (one of which has 1922 patent date). Nice use and moderate general age related wear throughout and the name "Max Carey" is written on the outside, at base of the thumb, in vintage ink. An included letter of provenance signed by Max Carey Jr. relays that it is "a baseball glove used by Max Carey." Though likely dating to just after his (20) year Hall of Fame career concluded, the glove a is rare and well documented piece of equipment related to one of the Pirates All-Time Greats and a member of their 1925 World Series Championship team.
