Description: Unique Babe Ruth "Keep Em Flying" autographed menu. Vintage paper menu from "Donahue's" restaurant in Mountain View, New Jersey which has been signed, "Sincerely Babe Ruth" in black fountain pen adding the unique inscription "Keep Em Flying". Signature and inscription are notably bold rating 9 out of 10 and also of noted size measuring almost 5" in total length. The inscription was signed to a local man who worked the aeronautical parts and as such Ruth was referring to keeping the planes in the air. Placemat itself measures 14" long with a few unrelated period pencil/ink doodle lines at bottom right and tape repair (on back) to 2" tear at top right that extends right to the top of the ‘r" in Sincerely. Truly unique Ruth signature piece presenting in superb high condition grade. Includes full LOA from JSA and handwritten note of provenance relating to the family history: Placemat: VG-EX, Signature: NM-MTEstimated Price Range: ($10,000-$15,000)
