Description: 1914 Red Sox vs. Senators Opening Day panoramic photograph. Sweeping oversized panoramic view of Fenway Park on April 14, 1914 showing a total of (56) members of the Red Sox and Senators. Notables include Walter Johnson, Joe Wood, Harry Hooper, Dutch Leonard, Chick Gandil, Clark Griffith, and Tris Speaker. Speaker is actually shown twice and was able to make his double appearance due to the mechanics involved in the process of taking such a photo. Captioned within, "Opening Game of The Season, Fenway Park...Boston, Mass." Framed to 9"x45" and while the piece displays well there are a number of flaws including several large cracks to the image (one running across several Senators players just to the right of center and others which effect the left hand side), scattered toning/stains, and a few areas in which the image has adhered to the glass. The frame has several perimeter chips and the upper right corner of the glass is broken (glass can not be replaced as the image is adhered in several areas): see description
