Description: Rare 1949 Bowman PCL complete set (36 cards). The first complete set of this scarce issue featuring Pacific Coast League players which we can recall handling. Only issued on the West Coast and cards from this series surface so infrequently (especially in any sort of quantity) that there is much debate about how they were released. While there are no "key" cards to single out for grade they are very sharp overall with average card around EX. Only a small handful dip below VG/EX: Avg.
