Description: 1972 Jerry Grote autographed New York Mets professional model home jersey. Pinstriped jersey has "Mets" team name across the front with number "15" below. The number also appears on back and there is a team logo patch on the left sleeve. While the numbers are back are obvious replacements, those on front appear to be original to the jersey as does the team name and logo patch. In the collar is an "42 72 15" embroidered strip tag (denoting size, year, and player number) and a marker notation to one side is presumably the name of a Minor League player to whom it was later issued. Rawlings tag on the inside front tail (size 42). Use and wash wear are evident throughout and (1) button has been replaced. It does not appear that the arm band which was worn by the Mets in 1972 was ever applied to this jersey. Signed in blue marker rating 8 out of 10.
