Description: Vintage "Sport Clothing And Footwear" oversized wooden sign c.1910s-20s (GD-VG) Large wooden sign as hung outdoors to promote a sporting goods store is football shaped with applied wooden block lettering. Stands just over (5) feet tall and measures (3) feet across at the widest point. Wear due to weather and age as consistent with long-term outdoor use throughout. A small portion of one letter (an "N") is missing. It has been relayed that the sign hung outside of the James Bailey Company is Maine although this can not be definitively stated: GD-VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
