Description: Babe Ruth "Home Run Special" store model glove with rare original box c.1930s. Top of the line rare lefty black leather split finger glove (laced web) has "Babe Ruth" facsimile signature in the palm along with other markings. These are slightly obscured/faded due to use which is mild throughout. A former owner's name (Elmer) is written inside. Rare box displays at VG level with restoration throughout the lid that includes inpainting, reinforcement of seams, repair of some cracks, and possibly the addition of a few small amounts of material.
