Description: Rare Spalding baseball bat store display rack with exceedingly scarce metal sign c.1920s. Desirable A-frame store display bat rack stands 80" tall offering space for a total of (36) bats. Upper slat retains majority of the original "Base Ball Bats" stenciled lettering on either side. Wooden frame remains in outstanding original condition with some minor scattered pitting and wear but is free standing and fully functional. The display retains its original double sided Spading painted metal marquis sign which does exhibit very heavy wear with extensive paint chipping. Outstanding condition example of the rack itself with one of the few surviving original marquis signs: EXEstimated Price Range: ($7,000-$10,000)
