Description: 1912 L1 Helmar Leathers #123 Sherry Magee. Desirable oversized (approx. 10"x14") leather premium issued by Helmar in exchange for coupons packaged with their "Turkish Trophies" line of tobacco products. The coupons could be exchanged for a T3 Cabinet Card (10-15 coupons), S81 Silk (20-25 coupons), or an L1 Leather (35-50 coupons). This trio of premiums are among the most sought after tobacco related issues in the hobby and the L1 Leathers are by far the rarest. Well defined image appears on light toned leather which has a number of scuffs/slash marks on the lower portion. The lower third of the piece has some faint white residue visible from the front which is slightly more pronounced when viewing from the back: GD/VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
