Description: 1912 L1 Helmar Leathers #117 Nap Rucker. Desirable oversized (approx. 10"x14") leather premium issued by Helmar in exchange for coupons packaged with their "Turkish Trophies" line of tobacco products. The coupons could be exchanged for a T3 Cabinet Card (10-15 coupons), S81 Silk (20-25 coupons), or an L1 Leather (35-50 coupons). This trio of premiums are among the most sought after tobacco related issues in the hobby and the L1 Leathers are by far the rarest. Image remains bold and crisp and, with the exceptional of a small spot of residue near the bottom, the piece displays as nearly "like new" from the front.
