Description: Rare 1963 Chicago Bears NFL Championship ring. Striking original 14K gold ring presented to team physician Dr. L.L. Braun in recognition of the Bears NFL championship team. Top of the ring features an inset diamond of .33 carat weight on a stadium field with "Chicago Bears 1963 World Champions" titling encircling. One side panel displays NFL shield insignia with teams/game score while other side panel has "Dr. Braun" above Chicago Bears team logo. Stamped Jostens 14K on interior ring band. Very fine original condition with minimal surface wear. Size 9.5. Dr. Braun served as the team's physician and was involved in the tragic cancer diagnosis of Brian Piccolo in 1969. Scarce NFL championship ring dating to the classic Bears franchise of the 1960s era numbering as one of only a scant few offered to the collecting public. Includes original blue velvet ring box and exterior cardboard box with "Dr. Braun Size 9 1/2" label: NM
