Description: Significant Pete Rose autographed Cincinnati Reds professional model jacket attributed to his September 11, 1985 record breaking game. Red stain jacket with "Mizuno" embroidered on the left front chest has a "World Win" tag in the collar. It has been signed below the tag "Pete Rose" and again on the front, "Pete Rose 9-11-85 #4192." Both signatures are done in marker rating 9 out of 10. An included notecard which has also been signed by Rose ("To Barry...Pete Rose") bears a typewritten statement reading "I, Pete Rose, wore this jacket the night I broke Ty Cobb's record. 9-11-85." The jacket displays light use and remains in fine all original condition. Rose made his record setting hit in front of over (47,000) fans who had packed Riverfront Stadium in anticipation of the event and would accumulate a total of (4,256) in his career. This stands as one of the few records across the spectrum of sports which may never be equaled.
