Description: Roberto Clemente professional model baseball bat c.1971. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Clemente facsimile signature in the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 32.8oz. Model number "G105" is factory stamped in the knob. Strong use is evident throughout including ball and contact marks scattered about the barrel. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle and a crack has been repaired. Some heavier then typical wear suggests "post player use" according to PSA and they note that one order in Clemente's record which may correspond to this bat is noted "For J. Ortiz." It is unknown what this means but it may relate to another player. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA (graded "GU 6") and Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$7,500)
