Description: 1934 New York Yankees team signed baseball. Orange and blue stitched Spalding Babe Ruth "Home Run Special" ball has been signed by (22) incl. Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Red Ruffing, Bill Dickey, Lefty Gomez, and others. Fountain pen signatures generally rate 6 to 7/8 out of 10 with Ruth and Gehrig (on opposing sweetspots) among the stronger (Ruth 7 out of 10 and Gehrig 8). A handful of autographs fall at lower level due to either fading or having been effected by surface wear. Ball has a toned coat of shellac applied with some scattered chipping.
