Description: Ken Griffey Jr. autographed professional model baseball bat c.1997 (PSA "GU 8"). Outstanding example dating to Griffey's American League M.V.P. Award winning season in which he hit .304 with (56) homeruns. Louisville Slugger 125 model C271 bat with Griffey facsimile signature in the barrel measures 33.75" long and weighs 30.8oz. Outstanding use with ball contact, stitch, and cleat marks throughout the barrel along with some rack streaks. The handle has criss-cross pattern tape applied to aid in grip (a well known Jr. trait) and there is some pine tar/mota stick. A crack begins just above the tape and extends approx. 8". A few scattered chips/nicks have been filled in with black marker (this having no effect on overall display value as is mentioned for accuracy). Signed in silver marker rating 9 out of 10.
